Red Micro-Mosaic Double Oval Picture Frame

Micro mosaic double picture frame sporting a puzzle of minute shapes and sizes of glass forming lovely floral bouquets. Bright shades of red, yellow, orange and purple, form a design of cheerful cabbage roses. These exquisite flowers are set on a navy blue background with a rim of bright red tiles around the perimeter. Difficult to discern, but two or three of the tesserae may be missing in the navy area of the bottom.

The frame is brass supported by an easel stand attached to the back. The brass oval openings, smaller frames' inside edges, have a couple of curves and bends from age and use. Two brass ovals snap with ease into the back of the picture frame and hold their glass intact. Made in Italy.

Our micromosaic frame measures 4" wide by 3" high and sets on two brass ball feet. The brass easel support on the back moves freely and needs a stop to hold it steady. It would set very safely on a doily or linen.
